ICi RDI News TV is a Category C news channel and working under Canadian broadcasting corporation. It broadcast in Canadian French language and first-time aired on 1 January 1995. Formerly it is known as Reseau de Information (information Network). It is famous in Canada as CBC News Network. The headquarter of the channel located in Montreal, Quebec. Former branding of the channel is RDI which changed as ICi RDI Nerws TV in January 2014 as a plan of all CBC networks. The subscribers of the ICi RDI are 11.1 million, and it earns $ 54.5 million annually. Almost 400 Journalists are working in the channel.

ICi RDI launched on 1 January 1995 with the name of Reseau de Information. It relies on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) for news gathering. ICi RDI began broadcasting in widescreen on 10 September 2007 and launched RDI-HD on 2 May 2008. The logo of the channel also changed on the same date which used now. The former slogan of the ICi RDI was L’Information continue (Continuous information ) in 1995 and from 2006-2013 it got the new slogan Sourced ‘Information (Source of information). The present logo of the channel is News First.
Programming
Ici RDI broadcast news program, current affairs program, sports, local, international and weather news headlines after every half hour from Montreal and Quebec newsroom. Mainly it broadcast the programs in French language and on weekends a lot of food and current affairs programs presented in the same English format as CBC new Network.
